What is ILLiad? Why am I here?
ILLiad is software used to request materials from other libraries (Interlibrary Loan) and to request PDFs of items not available online (DesktopExpress). If you clicked on a "Find Text" button, you'll need to log in to finish processing your request.

Interlibrary Loan staff are available most hours that Lied Library is open , however, specialists are generally available Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

How long does it take?

Although most articles arrive within 72 hours, and books arrive within 7 days, there are several factors to consider which may affect how long it takes for you to receive your request:

  • Format (Can the document be sent electronically or does the item have to be shipped?)
  • Availability (How many other libraries have the article or loan requested?)
  • Staff (Are staff available at our partner libraries to process your item?)
